Malaysian students can apply to UTP online through the UTP admission portal. You can select up to three programmes in order of preference and must pay a non-refundable RM50 processing fee.

Prepare a scanned MyKad marked “For UTP Use Only”, a passport-sized photo with a blue background, your relevant academic certificates and transcripts, SPM results, and proof of English proficiency such as SPM English, MUET, IELTS or TOEFL.

Apply through the UTP online admission portal using a non-iCloud email address. Select up to three programmes in order of preference, pay the RM50 application fee via U-Pay, and keep the Application Reference Number you receive after submission.

Incomplete applications are automatically rejected. You will need to submit a new application for a later intake.

For the September 2026 intake, applications opened on 11 June 2026 and closed on 10 July 2026. Offers were announced on 31 July, registration took place on 1 September, and the semester began on 7 September 2026.
