One thing that makes it different at UTP

UTP describes it as a one-of-a-kind Corrosion Engineering programme in Southeast Asia, combining industry-focused modular programmes with access to UTP's state-of-the-art corrosion laboratory facilities.

The Research Behind It: Which area, centre and academics?

Research focuses on corrosion engineering, materials degradation and asset integrity, supported by UTP's Centre for Corrosion Research (CCR). Areas include oilfield corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, corrosion inhibitors, coatings, materials failure and multiphase-flow corrosion. Academics include Dr Kee Kok Eng, AP Dr A Rahim Othman, Dr Mazli Mustapha and Dr Saeid Kakooei.

Cost & Funding: Which scholarships and aid apply to this programme?

EPF Withdrawal Scheme may be used by eligible Malaysian students. UTP's GA/GRA are intended for postgraduate research students, so they do not directly apply to this programmework programme. Applicants should also check external sponsorships/loans through UTP's financial-aid information.
