How much do studies cost at UTP?
UTP tuition fees are billed per semester based on academic programmes and student accommodation. Billed in MYR for local students and USD (subjects to conversion rate) for international students, total costs include academic tuition, registration, annual fee, on-campus accommodation, personal bond and visa processing (for international students).
What scholarships and financial aid are available at UTP?
UTP students can access four primary financial assistance channels:
- Corporate sponsorships from companies for full or partial sponsorships.
- Government scholarships and loans such as JPA, MARA, and PTPTN for qualified Malaysian applicants.
- Foundation & state scholarships such as from Yayasan Terengganu, and Lembaga Zakat Selangor.
When and how are tuition fees paid at UTP?
Tuition fees must be settled prior to programme registration at the start of each semester according to UTP’s academic payment schedule. Payments are processed digitally through the UTP Finance Portal using FPX online banking, credit/debit cards, or international telegraphic transfers (TT).
