What does giving to UTP support?
Giving to Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS can support scholarships, financial assistance, student development, research and other approved university priorities. Your contribution helps address identified needs and creates opportunities for students and the wider UTP community.
Should I give through Yayasan UTP or TAZU?
Choose Yayasan UTP for philanthropic contributions towards scholarships, research, student development and other approved purposes. Choose Tabung Amanah Zakat UTP (TAZU) to fulfil zakat and support eligible asnaf students.
Who benefits from my contribution?
Beneficiaries depend on the fund or campaign you select. Student assistance may support tuition, living needs or laptops. Other contributions may support researchers, academic programmes, university facilities or approved community initiatives.
Where can I check the tax treatment of my contribution?
Check the Help & Assurance information for your selected giving route before contributing. Yayasan UTP donations and TAZU zakat payments have different tax treatment, eligibility conditions and official receipt requirements.
How do I contribute through UTP Cares 360?
Select Give, choose a cause and open the campaign details to continue to the payment site. For zakat, go directly to TAZU’s payment platform. Corporate contributors and staff seeking salary deductions can contact the team about the arrangements available.
