Marine Carbon Mineralisation: Reducing Platform CO2 Emissions by 18%
Centre for Carbon Capture & Storage engineered a hollow-fiber membrane system capable of separating high-concentration CO2 under extreme marine conditions. Co-funded by a RM 14M industrial grant, the prototype transitioned from laboratory synthesis to pilot testing on deepwater platforms in 24 months.
